Job Overview

B-Lynk is expanding its portfolio of Cloud Technology training, support, user adoption services and web services and is searching for a Web & Cloud Services Director.

This role will lead, manage and be accountable for the Web & Cloud Services team, which is a key component of growth within the operations team at B-Lynk. They will report to the VP of Training & Digital Services who leads B-Lynk’s operations function.

This Director will own the Web & Cloud Services Development & Delivery operational process and execution. Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and presentation skills) are essential for the success of this role. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record for managing people, exemplify resourcefulness and strive for growth and excellence in their work.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Leadership of product creation management, engineering & enhancements.
  • Leadership of web development, execution, analytics, security, issue resolution & maintenance.
  • Leadership of UI/UX technology, User Experience & Creative guidelines.
  • Lead a department where products are born, live and evolve.
    Process creation for new product launch & execution.
  • Holding the team accountable for Quality Assurance & Best Practices.
  • Familiar with all technical aspects and issues of the product or service.  This ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Attend client calls to represent the Web & Client App Services team.
  • Management of a team of the Web & Cloud Services team and organization of human energy.
  • Team traction with gained focus, accountability and follow through.
  • Hire, Onboarding & Deboarding of the team. Right people, right seats.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and deliver Mid Year & End of Year Performance Reviews.
  • Execute company goals, initiatives and product vision.
  • Ownership of the strategic direction of products.
  • Issue resolution, facing the things that hold us back.
  • Management of tools and systems the team needs to build successful & deliver successful products.
  • Team 1:1 monthly meetings & Weekly10 submissions.
Required Qualifications
  • Product Management experience with SaaS and/or web based products.
  • Experience in building and overseeing product teams.
  • Proven leader with interest in continued growth and technology solutions.
  • People Management experience.
  • Process oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of product creation and execution.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills including client communication.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys working with entrepreneurial teams.
  • Great organization, time & project management skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Enjoys collaborating across teams.
  • Resourceful with problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and G-Suite.
  • Strives to deliver excellence in their role, through their team and for the client.
  • Contributes to growth opportunities for the business by asking questions and bringing new ideas.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in software engineering and/or web development.
  • Has been part of Product Architecture planning.
  • Understands Product Quality Assurance testing and guidelines.
  • Has delivered innovative products that contributed to revenue growth.
  • Operationally sound and capable of developing scalable business processes.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Experience with business planning and cost models.
  • Experience in developing the business case for new products and improvements to existing products.
  • Experience in developing positioning for the product and communicating to sales and marketing.
  • Has worked with finance to build cost models and report to the company’s leadership team.
  • Running beta and pilot programs and reports findings and implements necessary adjustments prior to go-live.
  • Part of a team executing product creation and execution.
  • Web development creation & execution.
